

Biography
Tracey Kyle spends most of her day as “Señora Kyle,” teaching Spanish to energetic middle schoolers. She has taught Spanish and French at the secondary level for over 25 years, and is the author of 6 picture books. She studied in Madrid, Spain while at Skidmore College, and in 2004 was the recipient of a grant from the National Endowment of the Humanities, allowing her to return to Madrid to study art at the Prado. Currently she lives in Northern Virginia with her husband and two cats. When she’s not designing lesson plans or working on a new story, she loves to read, bake, and practice yoga.
